MOM WANTS ME TO MARRY BUT I'M DOUBTFUL ABOUT HAPPY MARRIAGE

im just curious about marriage in today’s day and age. my mom keeps asking me to get a relationship so i can marry out but from what i heard of my friends’ families, i dont think most marriages last in the long run, which means me dating to marry and expecting a happy marriage is just not a realistic goal lol. i wanna know how right / wrong i am

🥰 - my parents are happy and in a healthy relationship (ie even if they fight they make up pretty quickly)

🐳 - my parents marriage is on and off like 50% good days and 50% bad

💩 - my parents are literal enemies but still together somehow

😢 - my parents divorced
