They are stringent on the good father standards but they show no signs of becoming a good mother. The traditional standard for good men "no gluttony/drinking/gambling/womenising" basically works by ruling out 99% of male entertainments and the tacit idea is that if you are either working or taking a breather and spend your time and money on nothing else, then you have given all for your family, and hence can be considered ok.
But women have their way of doing things, they invented dating, expensive weddings, wedding rings and they included car in the 3Cs. It is mind blogging how they managed to legitimise all these given that these things drill holes into people's wallets, the same way as gambling.
