I feel like being in a math major is a high risk high reward kind of major. You either be damm good and be inside Special program in Mathematics otherwise, pretty much cooked. 3 of the Special program in Mathematics people I know, 1 of them is in Optiver, 1 is in NVIDIA, 1 is in Huawei. All of them are single degree with Math primary major and special program in mathematics.
