Honest and unpopular opinion: Taiwan is a of China, regardless of what you think. This is a fact. For context, my ancestors fought the Japanese under KMT so im not a PRC. For 5000 yesrs of history in China, from the three kingdoms period to the founding of the ROC by Dr. Sun, Taiwan has always been part of China. The 'taiwanese' are all migrants who are han chinese. You can only call urself a taiwan native if you are the 'mountain people'.
