Understanding NUS Shuttle Bus Delays Beyond Complaints

There have been many complaints about the shuttle bus services lately. I think that they are valid but please remember that there are humans behind the scenes making it all work for you.

Breakdowns? Yes. It can be worked on.
Maintenance? Flag the issues. The buses can't be taken out immediately because NUS has a limited fleet. Diesel buses have to be pulled in to help out.
Congestions? Have you asked the car drivers why they're avoiding the ERP when they can afford to drive unlike most of us?
Delays? Sometimes passengers are the cause. When students regardless of nationality INSIST on boarding the bus, a couple of seconds can cause a build up of delays down the route.

It's not always them. Let's not make an us versus them climate here.
