Oiiii! If you go to a country, and people in one place hates you and chases you away, are you going to visit that country again? It doesn't matter what people did bro, all tourists need to know is, whether the people there turned hostile before or not! Customer pay to feel like god bro, they don't pay to learn a lesson! You see trouble, I see market opportunities, you see, all the more valuable things in NUS are safely locked away in labs, and all that the tourist can possibly hurt is just your feelings. THIS IS GOOD! Because human inherently wants to offend other people! If you are feeling offended, it is quite likely that the tourist are making themselves comfortable, and if they made themselves comfortable, they will post their stories on internet, and more people will come! Getting people to come is step 1 for anything at all. You want to increase your fundraising from a cookie sale? You need more people to walk pass your stall. You want cheaper department T shirt? Order in bulk, and sell the extra to tourists. You want better food, like MC Donald? You need a bigger market than just NUS students. NUSCOP too lousy, not selling what you want? Again, you need a bigger market than just NUS students. You want to sleep with your bf/gf? You need a hotel room, and hotel cannot be built without enough tourists. Why do people pay money? To get something they don't deserve....... it's that simple. Sell people what they cannot get for themselves and you get money. If you prove yourself to be able to tolerate offensive tourists behaviour, people will think of you are "chill as f to hang out with", they will think of you as some kind of capybara on 2 legs, and at some point of time, a market price might be assigned to you. And then you start to leverage that to your advantage.
