The problem isn't about AI, it is about the discontinuation of warefare state and how to draw the line between what should be regulated and what should not be. AI is technology, it's productivity, it's science, but WHO said that people have to give way to those things and not the other way round? Isn't drone technological advancement? Doesn't explosive has its own domain of research? I don't even have to mention organic chemistry right? All these are heavily regulated, because they either pose unnecessary danger or they give some people the means to further their interests at the expense of others. So, why is it that, AI cannot be regulated? Here, I can't start excavation anyhow, if I want to build an underground ice storage, I will need to do lots of paperwork and I need to make sure that the construction is done very properly, so that the ground doesn't move, and other people's house doesn't collapse, then why can boss anyhow use ground breaking technology like AI to replace employee? Just because I am breaking ground literally and they are doing it figuratively?
